My fee stated includes all travel, including the rehearsal, within Cornwall, London, Cotswolds and Harrogate. There are no extra fees, the price you see is all you’ll pay.

If you are outside of these regions, I may be able to help and there may be a small additional charge for travel expenses depending on where your wedding takes place. Please enquire to discuss and I will be happy to go over the options.

This has never happened, but fortunately I have a raft of several certified and experienced colleagues who I know would knock the socks off your ceremony as well as I would. Your ceremony will already be completely written by me, of course, and I would call on one of my colleagues to seamlessly step in to read and perform what you and I have created together.

I recommend and gently insist on a rehearsal – that’s why it’s included in my services!

If your venue is not available for a rehearsal, don’t fret! We just need a space where we can imagine a “front area” and practice walking down a mock aisle and standing in a line. Rehearsals can even be carried out in parks, coffee shops, gardens, and restaurants for example.

We want to do everything we can to make sure everyone is as relaxed as possible on your wedding day. A rehearsal – anywhere – goes a long way towards that.

After we meet and you decide to book me, I send you an email with a link to a secure online payment portal provided by Paypal. You can pay by credit card, debit card, Paypal or Apple Pay online. I ask for a 50% booking payment as a retainer, and I ask for the remaining 50% two weeks before your wedding – well after you have your ceremony script and it’s almost complete.

You go ahead and book an appointment at the register office where a registrar will take care of the legal aspects of your marriage certificate. The small cost for this part is paid directly to them and you can complete this before or after your All Weddings Great & Small celebrant led wedding ceremony.

You’ll notice I never use the word “joke” in describing what I do.

Because I don’t tell jokes at your wedding.

There’s an important difference between humour and “a joke.” I love to laugh, and I believe you and your guests want to. But I steer away from “jokes” that can be said of any couple, anywhere, anytime. And I find that gender-based or honeymoon jokes (for example) are almost always cringe-inducing at best and offensive at worst.

Any of the humour in your ceremony will be about a funny memory in your own story from your first impressions of each other, your first date, or your proposal, and it will be something that you told me about. I don’t tell jokes. What I do, is find those lighthearted and contrasting occasions in your love story that make us laugh.

And those are the moments captured in all those photos.

Yes. And here’s why.

In a nutshell, my fee allows me to be a professional celebrant, to not have to cram as many ceremonies as I can into a weekend, and to focus fully on my couple by writing their unique ceremony and crafting the fun and moving story of how they fell in love and arrived at their wedding day.

I concentrate on creating unique, customised ceremonies, so you never have to feel like you are just a number with a “cookie-cut” wedding and a script that is fairly “canned” and run-of-the-mill. Your ceremony will always be personalised and tailored to you.

I eat, sleep, and breathe weddings, and I devote 100% focus on every wedding I do and make it the best experience possible for everyone. Truly dedicated celebrants, myself included, have undergone extensive training to be certified to carry out such a ceremony, in addition to many years of experiential learning and doing. All for the benefit of the couple, the both of you, on your most special of days.

An Unboring Wedding is a unique experience, the offering of which has been refined over many years to provide a truly unforgettable wedding ceremony that will wow you both and thrill your guests.

STEP 1 – Your Enquiry

I choose to take on a limited number of ceremonies to ensure each couple gets a truly personalised, unique experience. If we’re meant to work together, we’ll know it. Let’s meet and see if we’re a great match.

Please submit an enquiry, and if I’m available for your date, let’s set up a video chat.

STEP 2 – No-obligation “Chemistry Check” Consultation

The next step is a no-obligation “chemistry check” consultation to make sure I’m just right for you. We can go over all the details to discover what you are looking for and how I may be a good fit, and then we can take it from there.

We can meet up on a video call, or if possible in person at a tea room for a friendly “no-sales-pressure” discussion about the two of you, me, and your ceremony vision. Let’s have a tea (or coffee) over a meet-and-greet that is relaxed and fun.

If we’re not a great match for whatever reason, I may be able to suggest another officiant who could be a better fit.

If it all feels right, I’d be honored to craft your dream ceremony.

STEP 3 – Your Love Story is My Honour

If all the stars align, we agree to go ahead, I send you confirmation and you pay the 50% retainer. Then I am officially yours for your best day ever!

I officiate one wedding per day because your love story deserves to be the only Happy Ever After on your date, not just another event on my schedule. When you book me, your ceremony is my one and only for that day.

I look forward to speaking very soon, as you begin your Unboring Wedding journey!
